Hello, here are the best websites (with pictures) for Bangladesh Folk art. As an arts and crafts museum is in Dacca, but their site has no graphics, only a summary of the museum. here is a good page about the best book on Bangladesh contemporary art (it has some of visuals) http://www.the-south-asian.com/Contemporary_art_Bangladesh.htm Perhaps the best known and best documented folk art of Bangladesh is the "rickshaw" art. Rickshaw owners to paint their vehicles with very individual and rich imagery. The Art of China - Ming, Qing dynasties and later
Chinese art encompasses a wide diversity of the various ruling dynasties of China. Several philosophers, teachers, religious figures and even political leaders versatile art form in China, including visual arts, popular, and performing arts. Ming and Ching were the last imperial dynasty of China.
China Ming Art
The Ming dynasty, one of the dynasties outstanding past, ruled China from 1368 to 1644. It was also the last dynasty to be dominated by the Han Chinese. All forms of art grew during this period, including painting, poetry, music, literature, drama and theater, as leaders Ming restore a sense of cultural identity and respect for conventional fixtures and crafts.
Designs carved objects decorated and covered with lacquer or intricately designed porcelain wares were usually found in the homes of the rich. Ming artifacts were definitely more creative than those of the previous dynasties were. Works of art from the Ming dynasty silk are also included jade embroidered items, ivory, and cloisonné. The painting techniques of color and color printing was perfected during this period. Some visual artists Ming is Ni Zan, Shen Zhou, Tang Yin, Wen Zhengming, Ying Qiu, Dong Qichang, and many others. Ming is also known for building the "Forbidden City", a majestic palace of impressive features and luxury.
Ching China Art
Ching Dynasty, also known as the Manchu Qing Dynasty or the last dynasty of China, governed from 1644 until 1912. The art of China Ching is the variety of all styles of art that had developed over the last 3000 years of Chinese civilization. The painters such as Shi-Tao and Chu Ta, is transmitted more directly through touches liberal conducted in the techniques of dry brush or damp. The demand for blue and white Chinese porcelain, lacquer and jade emerged in Europe during this period. The design of the dishes porcelain were made simple and the colors became more graphic, a marked departure from blue-green colors used in the Ming Dynasty. The everyday objects like furniture were made from materials such as wood or bamboo. With the opening of trade relations with Europeans, the Ch'ing art was strongly influenced by their counterparts West. The buildings and palaces were built according to western style, such as "Yuanmingyuan Palace," which was destroyed in the 19th century.
